Found this in a little RAD photo album. Just wondered if anyone could identify the squadron or decipher the scribbles ?? Dapple camo (or could be shadows) and what seems to be a black and white nose cone.

Hi,
taking into consideration that props were painted in two-color matter it could be I./JG51, II./JG51 or II./JG3. Photo was taken probably in July/August 1940.

Agreed, most likely taken after the westfeldzug in France. Can't help you on the unit.

Definitely Bf109-E's. Looks like part of a squadron emblem behind the intake in the last photo, but can't make it out.Comment
