    Help needed

This is a long shot, but does anyone know who this chap is? The back of one of his feldpost envelopes may shed some light - can anyone read what it says?

    Any help would be appreciated.

          (Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 1. Flughafen-Betriebs-Kompanie Zerstörergeschwader 2,
          dann 1. Flughafen-Betriebs-Kompanie Jagdgruppe 102,
          (30.7.1941-28.2.1942) 1. Flughafen-Betriebs-Kompanie Zerstörergeschwader 2,
          (12.3.1943-7.9.1943) 130. Flughafen-Betriebs-Kompanie (Quartiermeister),
          (25.11.1944-Kriegsende) 16.3.1945 39. Flugzeug-Wartungskompanie.

What's the date on the front of the envelope? Can you read it?

Letter to the parents. First sentence or two state that he received 3 letters containing money (20 and 100 RM, from what I can read) and he thanks them for same. Not so sure after that....looks like he might've received some eggs for his birthday also...

Just looking again and the first letter is more like an 'M' than a `W'

Here the German text of the letter:

                            9.3.42

                            Liebe Eltern,

                            Euer Walter.
