Yes nice shot although published by Mark Yerger in his book on Krag. So these guys are from Das Reich stug abtl. I've seen numorius copies of this photo sold on e bay. I hope yours in a good one?

The "Götz von Berlichingen" is SS-Sturmbannführer Ernst August Krag's (Oakleaves holder, "Das Reich") command vehicle at the time.

A similar picture is shown in "SS-Sturmbannführer Ernst August Krag - Holder of the Knight's Cross with Oakleaves, Kommandeur, SS-Sturmgeschützabteilung 2 und SS-Panzer-Aufklärungsabteilung 2" by Mr. Mark C. Yerger, 1997 Schiffer Publishing Atglen, PA, U.S.A.

A recommendable book. I think it's still available a amazon.com or directly from Schiffer. Inexpensive and a good reference work.

Normally I don't collect SS but this one came from a private source in Germany and not a Ebay buy. I picked it up for a friend and possible future trade item.

Is it correct that Edwald Ehm belonged to 16.(Pi.)/SS-PzGrenRgt 3 Deutschland ?
Then one would expect his cap to be piped in Black
