    Bill,
I have an Albert Schroeder in my PVA list, but I haven't got any pictures of him. I also have some photo's which appear to have originated from the same guy.

I've got one of an SS-Hstf Jakob Heidrich with 4PVA and a KC (He's actually wearing an EK2, but this was quite common for Front-line troops).

I posted this previously on the ahf and was told that Heidrich isn't a RKT and the photo's a fake, but I'm not entirely convinced.

I've got two photo's of him, (essentialy from the same portrait) both are poor quality postwar reprints, but I think there's a chance that he existed

    Cheers,

    Neil

This was another photo from the same bunch as 'Heidrich' and Bill's 'Schroeder'. Hirning was labeled as Harald Nugiseks, so whoever pulled all these photo's together didn't get it right everytime

And another one from the same source (or at least with the same paper backing and spidery writing. This one was labeled as Jakob Steckmeier RKT and I'm happy that the name fits the face.

            Cheers,

            Neil

                Mystery colllection

                Hi Neil,

Just curious as to where you picked up the photos? My memory is a little shaky but I think I got mine several years ago from a German auction house? I picked them up as I collect Knights Cross signatures, among my many addictions and any KC material for that matter.

It appears that it was from some fellows collection . As far as backing he also used some sales reciepts and magazine articles. I was looking for dates and found a couple from early to mid 70's. My grouping consists of 36 pictures. I have a couple more PVA shots from this collection which I will post.

                Cheers
                Bill

I can't seem to find this fellow on the lists as KC, I think the fellow who made the notes got the wrong name?

                    Any thoughts?

                      Tommy,
I can't speak for Bill, but mine are postwar reprints (repro's) but that's OK by me. I think that the names written on the paper are not accurate, but the photo's are OK.
I've been told that the Heidrich photo is a 'fantasy photo', but I believe that it's a copy of a real photo: The question is who is it?

                      Cheers,

                      Neil

                        Hi Tommy,

Just curious as to when you saw these? Most of these photo's are postwar copies, although I think there are a couple of originals in the lot I picked up. I have a feeling this collection was put together in the early to mid seventies.

                        Cheers
