What we're looking at is the Teutonic challenge, "I can use a smaller chute
      than you can"
between Fallschirmjaeger. An ancient right of passage that
didn't much survive beyond the invasion of Crete. The 'Jaeger' on the ex-
treme right is swearing that he will exit the plane first before his fellows.

Could be "Seppl", the airborne wiener-dog of Olt. Pelz, FJ-Rgt. 3.

For our european soap lovers, we have Curly Watts ( now living in Malaga as seen on 'The Garage' ) but I digress, looks like an attempt to use dogs as well as pigeons, pigs in Russia, animals etc:...

Maybe its from one of those drop-containers for the local resistance?
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

Something dropped by the allies. How about a sky marker parachute flare?

Photo is taken probably in Hamm-Wieschershöfen in 1941, they should be from the (5)./ (Res.)Flak-Abt. 245.
