Help with Tiger Tank

Could anybody id the unit from this Tiger tank? I think it´s LAH - barrel with 40 or more kill marks

Hi Christian,

Your vehicle is not from the LAH/sSS Pz Abt 101, but I think it may be from sSS Pz Abt 102/502, seen just before the Normandy campaign. This unit has this style of numbering, and often had spare tracks over the corners of the front plate.

I am sure a more Tiger-knowledgable person will tell us for sure.

Does anyone know how many Kills/Victories Unterscharführer Glagow of sSS Pz Abt 102/502 was credited with? I've never even heard of him and I have quite an extensive list of panzer aces? BTW I counted 48-51 Kill rings on the barrel of this Tiger I.

This is a very impressive picture. Congrats . I don't know if i see it correct but it looks there is a unit shield on the right side of the girls knee. On the front plate just behind the lamp. I could be wrong
