The gun visible in the last post above is clearly an MP 38 and I didn't spot any others in this entire thread. The fluting lines along the receiver are
plainly visible ,as well as those above the magazine housing.

I agree, it looks like a pre-production mp-38....but I could be wrong. too bad people like that have pieces of history in there hands.

you could also argue that its still fulfilling a purpose and has more right to be there than on a collectors wall.

I have it from a good source that the guy is willing to trade for a working AK-47

lol Ya I guess it works both ways Mousey. I didnt know it was a civilian....It looks like he is from some sort of paramilitary organization..haha, and thats why I said that. Im not saying it wouldnt be fun to shoot once in a while, but Im still all for preserving things like that.
