    Repatriated Officers?

Anyone have any suggestions on a starting point to try and figure out who these guys are?

Some interesting things going on in the photo. USAAF C-47 however the sergeant on the right is a Brit. RAF did use C-47s but always with British markings.

The officer with the briefcase is missing his cap eagle. Is this indicative of post-May '45 or did UK PoWs lose their eagles upon capture?

The Brit sergeant is carrying a sten but has cartridge pouches for a rifle. His cap appears to be the GS (general service) cap and not a beret, dating it more towards the end of the war.

Not much to go on, I'm afraid.

Hi I was looking at this as possibly North Africa due
to surrender of the Afrika Korps, but also May 45 is
    possible as well.

I also originally thought DAK but then looked at the caps being worn. They appear to be woolen M43s.

The British sergeant is very likely wearing a Recce badge on his cap along with recce titles on his shoulders. His battledress is a mix of very early blouse style with pleated pockets and later style trousers. The GS cap would not have been available prior to mid-1943
