I have this original photo for years but never had the time to learn more. Does anybody know about this airplane, is this a prototype ?

The helicopter in your photo is Flettner Fl 282 captured after the war.

Thank you very much for your e-mail. To tell you the truth, I have no problem that people copy it for their own archives. However, if they want to publish it and don't ask, I sue. It happened to me 3 month ago with a company that had used some photos of my book : "Forgotten Wings" without asking me and it costs him 500$ + money back for lawyer fees (which were higher then 500$!!).

But thank you for your advice.

Yes, it is rare. Around thirty Fl 282 were made as prototype.
