Anybody has a Honor List/Ehrenblatt from 27.9.1943?

does anybody has this Honor List?
I'm looking for Informations about Feldwebel Wilhelm Wendland from Grenadier-Regiment 478.

Maybe someone can post it here?

Hi Joerg,

According to Jörg Hormann's "Die Ehrenblattspange der Wehrmachtteile", the only person in question 27 Sept. 1943 was SS-Ostuf. Bachtler (Komp.Führer in einem SS-Pionier-Battalion).

Ian, do you believe there are other errors in Hormann's publication? He's giving quite a detailed figure of awardees (4556 in WH and W-SS).

I am not familiar with that book, however after a quick search I have found 31 names in my references for awardees of the Erhenblattspange (Heer und Waffen SS) on Monday 27.9.1943!

SS-Ostuf. Bachtler was the only member of the SS to be so honoured on that date from what I can see.
