Thanks Gerden,i know some of the history behind this. It belongs to an old boy (he'll thank me for saying that),that i drink with. It was his fathers,an Irish guard. As a POW,when the Germans knew the Allies were coming they marched them out of the camp.Where he & his mate done a runner,the Germans were in too much of a hurry to care. This fella & his mate then met up with the Allies,hence this was in his pocket & he always kept it. Do you know which camp it was? Thanks for info,it's helped already. Regards Stewy
