I see no problem with either unless the stamps show otherwise. Flak Rgt. 47 served in Finland until the end of '44, the unit only seems to have had 1 abteilung which may account for it changing to flak abteilung 47. The EKII doc is signed by Willi Harmjanz who held the post shown on the doc between 23.6.44 and 18.12.44. I compared the sig with another LW EKII doc i have signed by him and it seems ok. I would guess he got his EKII for actions during the retreat from Finland during the autumn of that year.

Thanks for the information gentlemen. I'm getting quite good at the look, feel and smell of a document, what lets me down is lack of knowledge of the units and where they were at the time. I really must get hold of some data books sometime.

Oberstlt Gustav Nordmeyer: 08.1941 - 25.04.1943
Obstlt Hans-Friedrich Bolte: 15.05.1943 - 10.08.1944
Oberstlt Friedrich Nieser: 11.08.1944 - 09.1944
As a result, the signature on the award doc should be that of Gustav Nordmeyer.
