KG 2 Polish Campaign Citation Opinions Sought

    Hi,
I have seen this for sale on an auction site and while I would like to buy it I am not sure as to it's originality.
Am I right in thinking that II/KG-1 were not involved in the Polish campaign as they were training up, and if so what is the chance of someone in that unit getting an EKII that early in the war?
Luneburg, the date & the Commanding Officer all tie in but obviously that would be easy to replicate.
The other red flag is the price - at the moment with just 30 minutes to go it is only at 33 Euros - I would of thought such an early award citation would be higher?

    Opinions sought please. Thanks.

Well, it seems like the writing is nice and dark but the stamp is faded out. I think you made the right decision.

The best way to know would be to have a good knowledge of the unit and to compare it to other documents from the period and from the same unit. Also bear in mind the renaming or evolution of unit names.

The price i really don't see as a red flag to be honest.
