Ltn = Leutnant is his rank. Not his name.
I'm not sure about his name yet.
In you photo it is not very clear what Spange he is wearing. If you can make a better photo this would narrow it down to bomber, fighter, etc.

TOp VERY Interesting ... Now i need only the name of teh owner of the album ...

The Fotos must have been made between 1942 and 1944

s so the owner of the album must been awarded in that Timeframe

KC winner

I suspect the the unit they are with is Kampfgeschwader 2.

It is possible the KC holder and owner of the album is Ernst Andres,

In Ralf Schumann's Dies Ritterkraeger des KG2, there was a blurry pic of Kurt Heintz, who won RK wile he was StaffelKp of 9(K)/LG1. Went on to command V KG2, killed on 21.01.44. Only pic I have seen of him.

Hair, ears and general facial features all matched first RKT on top of post.

You might be right I looked at Schmann's book as well and as you noted though it is not a great photo there is a resemblance.

Certainly his time with KG2 would correspond with that of Schmitter.
