        In 1944 Grenadier Rgt. 67 was part of the reformed 23 Infanterie Division. This is not panzergrenadier Rgt.67 of the 26 Pz.Div. He wouldn't have got a silver IAB if it was.

          That's right Simon, but can you help me to know who was the commander of this regiment? Thanks

            Although it states Major und Regiments Führer on the document it is actually signed i.V. as a representative of the Regiments Führer, so this could be anyone!

            I have checked the lists of high award holders and he does not appear......might be a Hauptmann, Oberleutnant or even Leutnant!
