What a great ablum, thew new owner will be very happy with it.

I too have a photo album from an enlisted member of Germania, which has numerous photos from when they were garisoned in Holland prior to the invasion of the USSR.

Among these are a series showing an oath ceremony as well as a parade through the town, as well as numerous shots of the officiers of Germania. I think there maybe a photo or two of thi same officier.

Does this look like the same man??

This is my relative Obersturmfuehrer Ernst Richard Stubben. He was mortally wounded in 1944 and succumbed to his wounds a few weeks later in Danzig. We was posthumously promoted to Hauptsturmfuehrer and awarded the DKiG in October of 1944.

As you can imagine, this photo is of great importance to us and I am both amazed and pleased to see it! I already have the banquet photo shown, plus another.
