The Degen in post #19 appears to have the standard police eagle on the handle.

Rove, thanks for the clear statement. The primary purpose in posting on the paper items forum was not to sell the album, but to enter a glimpse of it into the community.

Selling on the e-stand requires stating a price. I was really uncertain what kind of price to set and was hoping to receive a few suggestions. This has happened, and I shall post the album on the e-stand.

What a great ablum, thew new owner will be very happy with it.

I too have a photo album from an enlisted member of Germania, which has numerous photos from when they were garisoned in Holland prior to the invasion of the USSR.

Among these are a series showing an oath ceremony as well as a parade through the town, as well as numerous shots of the officiers of Germania. I think there maybe a photo or two of thi same officier.

Does this look like the same man??
