Of course he was promoted and received some awards for his combat expierence (I wonder if you see this Wehrpass alone what will be your opinion regarding the award entries?)

His Iron Cross 2nd class, I love this clerck, he always used to identify where the regiment is, I have another group to a member of the regiment and in his EK citation is written Paris instead of the common and anonimous In Felde or Div. St. Qu.

Unafortunately our brave Gefreiter couldn't receive this last two as he was killed in action on October 12th, 1.942. Here you can also see his two previous wounds.

                            Hi Angel!

Very nice to see that all of his papers are still together!!
Interesting documents! Very Nice! You got them from the family of the soldier?

                            Regards,
                            Dennis

                              excellent!

Thanks for posting this group. Great to see all the stuff together.
I think the docs were cut down to fit into a notebook. A lot of the docs have the typical german two hole punch on the left side where vets kept their important papers in notebooks.
Interesting that he did not get a Rumanian Crusade medal though.
                              Cheers,
                              JeMc
