      Very interesting!
Are these air vents for an underground Luftschutzraum (air raid bunker?)

        SS Mutterheim

        Hello Kurmark,
beautiful and very special album you have there, and I appreciate you finding those little things in the photos like Himmler portrait and Allach about the place...
I have looked into the Lebensborn and SS Mutterheim connection. It seems to be the same thing as far as I can tell, unless there were two distinct SS Kinder operations. Either way , just as good.
        thanks again,
        Michael

Very interesting. How is the building being used now?

                hi richard,

when i was there i asked some old people in the town for the way to that building. unbelievable, but i met a old lady who had worked there for 30 years. she told me the storie she knows. first it was owned by a jews family, in the 30ths it went to the government and after the war the russians were in. than the east germans used it as hostipal and now the town is looking for a new owner ...

so if there is anybody out there, who looks for a new house with nice history !

that is nearly all i know about.

                cheers Olli
