Udet in front of his plane?

Hello,

here is a foto with the famous "As der Asse" from WW1 Ernst Udet.
Is the plane in the background his "Flamingo".?
Can somebody tell me when an where the foto was taken and maybe who the person next to him is? Is it his airplane?
