Yes...............it's real.

Here is another view of it.

It was excavated in north Germany.

They came in different sizes. Large ones were used to hook the meat on.

Small ones were actually placed inside chunks of meat.

I have two.............one small and one bigger.

They can be found from archaeological dealers.
