Splitting photo albums to make more money

I think splitting a grouping of albums is a seperate issue to taking a single album apart. Ideally it would be good if a grouping of albums could be kept together too as if they are from the same soldier then they would tell a fuller picture and compliment each other in terms of the research or historical value.

I dont think this is always possible however. It is always possible to keep a single album intact though regardless of whether they are captioned or not or from high profile campaigns/areas or whatever.

Of course it is always possible to keep an album intact but it must always be considered if this is worthwhile. Those that plunder an album are not always doing this to make money but often because the other photos are not relevant to the subject. It is also a matter of space available. Here in Germany far more albums and groups show up and the quantity of "junk photos" eg. a soldier with his buddy, in the local park etc., is sometimes very large. In any event, when you own the album you can basically do what you wish with it and it is up to the owner to determine how he wishes to handle his "investment" in a rather expensive hobby.
