    Dutch SS volunteers

    Both these photos are stamped
    FOTO NAT JEUGDSTORM (HASEWINKEL)

So this sugests that they are Dutch volunteers, allthough nationality shields and cuff titles can not be seen. I wonder if someone can identify the older NSB member sitting in th front row?

    Regards

    Peter

        Hi,

I do not know for sure but I would say that the officer on the left is wearing a Strijd en Offer pin. What is on the cuff of the officer on the right?

        Verry nice photo's.

        Best regards,

        Rene

Yes Anthony that is the Dutch equivalent of the HJ and Rene the cuff title on the right reads freiwiligen.. and the rest you can't read.

          Regards

Renee and Jan thanks about the info about van Bilderbeek and the possible ID of the officer on the left being Brendel who was CO at Avegoor.

Thomas I did my best on the stamp on the back and this is the best result from my scanner.

                Regards

                  Hi Peter,

Thanks for the picture. I also have two pics with this stamp (the stamps on my pics are red/orange) You can see two SS soldiers in training. The seller told me that the pics where taken out of an album from a soldier of "Germania".

                  Cheers, Thomas
