On a related note, my girlfriend is never willing to try on any of the tunics from my collection. I'd try them on, but I'm too darn fat. Those old timers were skinny fellas. Being at war didn't help the matter.

I've always liked these wife/girlfriend-in-my-uniform photos. I guess there's just something about a woman in uniform. A female friend of my ex-wife was in the Army reserves. She would drop by the house to see my then wife after weekend drill. She'd clomp around the house in combat boots, camo trousers and the army brown t-shirt. My God she was sexy.
