              AV59998/ This is Narvik today!
              This photo from Narvik shows the consequence of responsible military measures by the English. The cost of the Norwegian people’s wishes for a fair result can be seen. The English shot their heavy ship guns without regard between military objectives and the residential quarter leaving a large part of Narvik in ruins.

                        German torpedo boats and blockade runners accompany the boat through a minefield into the open sea. Our picture shows the comrades of the torpedo boat greeting the distant U-Boat as they were escorted through the minefield and wish them good luck on a victorious patrol.
