42520/ Appointed as Reichsjugendführer of the NSDAP and Jugenführer of the German Reich.
On the Reichsleiter’s recommendation to replace Baldur von Schirach, the Führer appointed Obergebietsführer Artur Axmann as Reichsjugendführer of the NSDAP and Jugenführer of the German Reich for the upbringing of the youth of the NSDAP. Axmann was previously the leader of HJ Gebiet Berlin. He is the creator and leader of the National Professional Competition of the German Youth and was known for his numerous years of cooperation with Baldur von Schirach for his social work with the HJ of the whole Reich. The new appointment as Jugendführer is the first for a 27 year old. He has been a member of the Hitler Youth since 1928. For months Axmann with Felheer relayed the Führer’s orders in the West and represented the youth leaders during his front line service. He is shown here as one of the many assault troops and is a Feldwebel.

AV60235/ Medical aircraft calls out to the air defense ship.
Another shameless attack by an English fighter on a German medical aircraft occurred a few days ago, which is a well known violation of the Geneva convention. The medical aircraft, a clearly marked aircraft assigned to the German Luftwaffe, serves as a member in the Luftwaffe to save lives. In addition to other models and its special flight configuration, the JU-52 serves as a spacious standard aircraft of the Luftwaffe. When our fighter aircraft crash lands in the sea, our rescue aircraft can discharge a rubber dinghy with necessary instruments and groceries long enough for a rescue ship to arrive. Our picture shows a rescue aircraft which has hailed a rescue ship on the high seas.
