Our picture shows the German Gebirgsjäger drilling in the Ostmark. Every man must also be a good skier. In addition the must be battle ready at all times in the snowy mountains of our homeland. The white snow covering provides excellent camouflage and makes it very difficult for the enemy to detect the movement of our troops.
