                      One of the weapons most feared by the enemy, the torpedo. Continual improvements have constantly increased its effectiveness. The torpedo mechanic has "fired the tube" and already the eel leaves the tube. Minutes of great expectation now follow and everyone thinks: "Has the eel made it?"

                                3958b/ State funeral for the murdered Generalkommissar in Belarus, Gauleiter Wilhelm Kube.
                                In the mosaic walls of the new Reich Chancellery in Berlin, the State funeral was held for the for the General Commissioner, Gauleiter Wilhelm Kube, who was murdered on 22 September 1943 in Russia. The Minister for the occupied eastern territories, Alfred Rosenberg, gave the speech during the commemorations. The Reichsminister for the occupied eastern territories presents the last greetings for the deceased.
