This was taken 11 July 1940 and shows the TV Division (according to the writing on the back of this press photo). Can anyone ID the SS officer in the pic or possibly even the location of this particular tank?
    Hi Todd,
it is not Prützmann, but SS gruppenführer Karl Wolff, Himmler's adjutant.

I can read French a bit, I believe it states that the final resting place of the tank was 5km from Brie, to the southwest of Roisel. The tank had gone to the repair echelon on May 17, and became totally immobilized the next day. It was then scuttled by the crew. The crew spent the next two days trying to find a way across the Somme, but all the bridges were German-occupied, and they were finally captured between Peronne and Albert. (thanks to Google Translate for some help with this)

I wasn't able to find those locations on the map in Trang's book, but maybe someone familiar with French geography can pinpoint this information.

2450a/ The tough fighting lies behind these men.
The Battalion is being believed after a long time on the front lines. The men emerge from their bunkers and foxholes to move “to the rear” and enjoy a few days of well-deserved rest.
