Most excellent pics! Keep them coming!

                      G8987/ A cruiser returning home.
A cruiser has fulfilled its mission. Now they are returning back to port ready for new action in the fight against the world harassers of peace. The cruiser sails into the setting sun of the breaking evening. Straight ahead the sun is disappearing behind the clouds on the horizon. Only traces of rosy colors remain on the assembled clouds on the horizon.

Here are the same photos as in Dunkirk and Greece. Armored vehicles, trucks,
cars and munitions wagons were surrounded on the roads and forest borders.

A Soviet attempted to cross the river with their trucks and tanks as the German troops were hard on their heels. They all remained stuck in the mud of the river.

48455/ The focal point of the fighting in the East.
Our photograph shows an important railroad junction on the Smolensk-Moscow line in the last of the multiple attacks from German aircraft. Clearly, the extensive destruction of the rail installation and buildings of the important commerce junction can be seen in the picture. The circle marks signify bomb impacts while the white borderlines point out the destroyed areas.

At first, communication is difficult. Eventually, it becomes easier as this elderly man translates.
