The people anxiously and expectantly listen to the words of the interpreter who admonishes them to bring in their crops. As every promise of the red commissars fall, the Ukrainians are reminded of how productive their soil is. They are also becoming aware that the yield of their troublesome work will not fall into the pockets of the pockets of the parasitic Bolshevik party big wigs.
