    Two Private Hitler Photos

    Hey guys:
Here are two private Hitler shots I bought from Rick White of Historical Media!! Any information would be great! (Car, time period, etc.) I get the feeling this is early war. Poland? Its hard to see any details! The second picture peaked my interests because the Luft soldier is looking at the camera!! After some research I believe the car is a Mercedes-Benz G4. One thing of interest is that there are no flags on the front.

Lets see if I get this right!! Starting from left to right surrounding Hitler, Army, Luft (wearing luft sword) & Army (wearing army dagger).

The second picture is definitely pre war as evidenced by Hitler's uniform being his party uniform together with his peak cap with no insignia. This is a scene from a Wehrmacht manoeuvers. Pictures of this event are in Die Wehrmacht.

Also Blomberg and Goering are present. You'll notice that Goering and some in the background are wearing armbands designating officers and officials in attendance at a formal military exercise. Hitler is wearing his binoculars to view the events.

          cheers,

          Ramon
