    SS Men on Parade

    Hi Everybody,

    I picked this up at the weekend and wondered (could be a long shot) if anyone can tell me anything more about the photo, other than they are SS.

    Sorry about the poor picture quality. It looked a lot better before I uploaded it.

    Anyway, here's a closer shot of the inspecting officers.

      WL officers?

      The men in the close-up look like Luftwaffe officers to me.

      The men in the first image might be wearing black or dark blue Luftwaffe (or navy?) collar tabs.

      Can you show a close-up of them, too?

          Sorry for the delay in picking up this thread. I usually receive e-mail notification but didn't in this case.

          As you can see the pictures aren't too good but the men on parade are definitely wearing plain black ss collar tabs. Although, I agree the inspecting officers look like luftwaffe. Does this make sense?

            Might the men on parade be wearing blanked out collar tabs? I can't remember the ins and outs of why this was done - some kind of security measure. A better look at the badge on the guy's hat second from the right might help clear it up.
