Hermann Göring picture as Chiefhunter

Hello to all,

I have got this picture from Hermann Göring as
Big hunter (Reichsoberförster) and a friend of mine
wants to buy it and I have no idea what I should say about the price.
So what would be a fair price for him ?

First, a question. Is that splotch of light actually on the photo or is it from your scanner or digital camera? If it's on the photo it will impact the price quite a bit. If the splotch is not on the photo then I would estimate a good price to be $50-$75 to someone who collects Jägerschaft items. If the splotch is on the photo then I would estimate no more than $25-$30 as it really does detract from the photo.

Great early photo of Hermann Meyer!! Especially when he looks rather thin in that photo compared to wartime shots of him. I believe that is glare from Don taking a picture of a picture. As far as price I would say a more realistic price is $50 maximum for a snap shot but that depends on what the buyer is willing to pay. Bill
