Campaign album Belgium & France May-June 1940

Here are some pictures from a 205 picture album I picked up recently. There are multiple shots throughout the album of the same car accidentally caught in frame at several different locations parked at the side of the road so it appears that the photographer was travelling by car, possibly a staff driver.

Any information on locations, units, insignia, vehicles or other details would be welcomed. Most photos have pencil or pen writing on the back but the writing is difficult on most to decipher & I havent had a chance to photograph the backs yet. I have put them into sections -ie aircraft, artillery etc (in the album they appear to be chronological but I could be wrong).

Aircraft - Downed and crashlanded some RAF being stripped / repaired by German mechanics.

Potez 63.11 No.373 belonged to GAO2/508 and was abandoned somewhere in France in June 1940.
The plane marked with white 37 number is actually LeO451.
Perhaps you can see a full code of Fairey Battle on your original photo?

could you tell me which number carried this bombed Potez?
And I think the LeO451 with "37" has a serial on the tail-plane perhaps you will see this on original print.
I have one LeO451 with "white 48" it was s/d in the area of Bulson on the 14.05.40 but this is not the same plane since I have one photo of this another one.

Hi - if you mean the one I think you mean its either a Z or a '299'. Just tried with a magnifying glass and thats as much as I can make out. There is no writing on the back of it either.

Re the white 48 # - there are 2 pics of that one, one from either side. In one of the pics there are some personnel and a motorcycle parked at the rear of it - presumably to cart some mechanics away ? It definitely looks to be a white # 48. Does your photo of the 48 show the engines hanging off ? Perhaps these ones here are mid salvage ?

I mean the photo with ending 147.
No, my photo shows completely smashed bomber which just plunged in the ground and yours photo shows a plane, which was quite smoothly belly-landed.
If this is #299 it belonged to GAO543 but I have no further information - this unit lost two Potez 63.11 on the airfield Luxeuil on the 10.05.40 during Luftwaffe bombing raid but marked with No.536 and 581.
