    Some Happy photos of WW2

    theres some funny (and a few not) pictures of the other side of War, messing about with guns, drinking a bottle of Wine (can anyone identify the bottle?) and having a well earned rest, as far as i know there all original? there all 1024x768 within reason, enjoy...? has anyone else got any photos of Happier times?

        Very nice photos, indeed,

        but the officers are not drinking wine but a herb-liqueur (Kräuterlikör). Its name is "Echt Stonsdorfer" and it is still sold in more or less the same bottle today

        PS: I have no connection to the company which produces this Schnaps and, no, I am not an alcoholic, just have good eyes and my pictorial memory still works...

            Amazing what photos will reveal ...

            It appears as if this officer on the left has a bullion qualification badge. But is that also a cloth EK1 as well?
