I think the "KIA" shot is a period propaganda shot of the DF man sleeping. Its not a smock but a zeltbahn....Ive seen this photo before

I knew the pictures were copies of originals. My main question I would have is
where would they get the posed German kia photos. These are definite propaganda style photos as used during the war. For interest sake I would like to be able to see all photos that came from the soviet sources.

Hi Matt

These photos were not relevant to the archives of the KGB or even put stamp "Archive Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR" in huge quantities printed in Russia and Ukraine. Regarding the photo slain German, it is well-known German photography.
