    Award documents ?

What effect on the value of an award document does the signature of the
awarding officer have ? ie Rank awards RK etc just a rough guide
    Thanks Mark

    Everything from nothing to everything.

In some cases the signature alone is the value and in others it's irrelevant. An RK holder can have an effect on the value but not necessarily, it all boils down to who it is. You can't even compare like with like, one diamonds winning fieldmarshal can be 'worth' much less compared to another.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

"Everything from nothing to everything" - Well put Simon.

I collect autographs myself, so if the person signing is well renowned and died during the war (e.g. Rommel, Walter Model, or Theodor Eicke) a document signed by these guys will be very desirable versus one signed by someone of repute that survived to produce more autographs. When you have documents signed by lower level officers, the value will have more to do with the document itself rather than the signatory.
