    Siberian Cossack Rgt commander

these two photos showed up this weekend at the local flea market. The photos are dated 8 July, 1944 and the name of the commander is given as Oberstleutnant Freiherr von Noloken. He is wearing the second pattern arm shield and on one photo the Cossack cross of the 2nd Sieberian Cav. Rgt. He also wears of a close combat clasp as well as an EKI.

the neck cross is apparently also a foreign award, would you know what it is?

Oberstleutnant Heimert Freiherr von Nolcken also won the German Cross in Gold on 25.8.1944 as Kdr. Sib.Kos.Reiter Regiment 2.

I believe the neck order is the
Croatian Order of the Crown of King Zvonimir http://users.skynet.be/hendrik/eng/Cr-Zvonimir.html

Interesting to see the Regiment cross on his chest, I have a Soldbuch a member of the same Regiment and there is an entry entitling him to wear this cross and and a trouser stripe!
