That last photo of the Ortsgruppe Newspaper display is wonderfully grotesque! One can see how insidious and encompassing this kind of sentiment was.
Great photos...like a literal snapshot to the past.

Bob, you are correct and the last photo is a very extreme example but also the rather tasteless effigies of the hanged figures. I wish we had 5-ways in Germany!
