This is a well known image of Adi that was offered in 2 postcards and various poster sizes.

I agree. This is very common and is regularly found on militaria auction websites in various sizes.

As far as seeing pressed textured Willy Exner prints all the time available,
I haven't seen them around at all the auction sites. I have seen some of these
but in very poor condition. I may be wrong. But, I wanted to display this print
                  for all to see.

                  Thanks Again,
                  Matt

                    Max is correct and incorrect.

The image itself is a commonly seen one. The particular poster you possess is less commonly encountered. I have several of the original Hoffmann Catalogues which list this particular speciman. The normal poster ran in the 20RM range while the more elaborate poster such as yours ran 30 RM and above depending upon size.

The point of this is this: only a Hoffmann specialist (there aren't alot of us around) interested in the various types of this poster is going to discern the differences in production values and attach a varying value thereunto.

You have a very nice item that should be matted, framed, and displayed out of direct sunlight. I'd suggest a UV inhibiting glass (read expensive).

Thanks for sharing this item with us.

My statement refers to the Exner image of Hitler which is very common and often appears on web and militaria auctions from postcards to posters, so I fail to see which part is incorrect. I know nothing about posters or their construction, other than the images they portray.

                        Hello Ramon,

I think if a person seen the different examples in person there would be a easily
made comparison. That it what is great about the forums, they can bring out some very educating experiences. But, nothing is as good as seeing different examples in person.

                        Thanks Again,
                        Matt

You might be interested to see a photo of the original Exner painting hanging in situ. Next to Hitler is Gauleiter August Eigruber, Dr. Karl Brandt, Heinrich Hoffmann, Albert Speer and Martin Bormann.
