    M44 uniform

Does anyone has any photo's with M44 uniforms on it? Not portrait photos!
Most pictures i see are POW photo's.
Oke they didn't made so much photo's later in the war as they did early, but why do you see so few M44 uniforms on pictures?
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

Its logic, they wore M36, M40 tunics and so on throughout the whole war, the M44 uniform was issued late 1944, les then a year before the wars end, no wonder you encounter the M44 tunic more on POW pictures than other period pictures.

It was modeled after the British/Cnd battle dress.

And this is for those who say NCO's never wore tresse on the collar on M-44's.

                      Great pictures!

Hmm as far as i know its not made after the British battledress but its just a simplified M43 tunic.. a cut down M43 to save on material etc.

Oh i think i just found a M44 tunic on 2 pictures i resently got.
I'm looking good at them now for the first time.
Not the best pictures but i like all the M43 tunics on them.

Looks like an M44 to me?:

And here the 2 pictures that i'm talking about:

Just thought I would bounce this old thread back to the top and see if any other M44 photos have surfaced?
                          Best Regards!
