Some time ago a very interesting lot of footage was found.
It concerned privately made movies from a Kriegsmarine NCO, and I believe he was promoted a Leutnant later.
Several pictures were also amongst this find.
An amateur film club is trying to make some documentary about him.
Their question was simple but very important:
Who can tell ANYTHING about these photos?
All input is welcome, because to voice-over the DVD a lot of info is needed!
Most of the pictures are taken at Rijnsburg, The Netherlands, at the old Flora Flower Auction and surroundings, where the Kriegsmarine apparently requisite room for storage of goods.
To my opinion, these pictures are around 1940/1941 taken, because of the trucks without wood gas generators.
That is about all I can tell.
So if anyone can make those guys happy with a bit of extra information.
Maybe someone knows which KM-units were at Rijnsburg at the start of the war?
All help is appreciated dearly!
And for everyone who can’t help: just enjoy the pictures!
Best regards,
Martin
