Questions about Artur Phleps

Hi guys,
I have a a few questions about this man. For what actions did he recieve his RK, and what was the date? Didn't he also win the swords posthumously?

Phleps' awards

No Swords for Phleps, just the Oakleaves.

I don't have the book with me at present but Volume 2 of Yerger's "Waffen-SS Commanders" should contain translations of the award citations for Phleps' RK, EL, and DKiG.

Phleps was awarded the RK on 4th July 1943. The recommendation for the award appears in 'Die Ritterkreuzträger der Deutschen Wehrmacht, teil VI, Die Gebirgstruppe, band II' in a nutshell it was for his leadership of Prinz Eugen during several operations in 1943 including unternnehmen 'Weiss' I and II between 20.1.43 and 09.03.43 in Yugoslavia and further operations in May.
