Help on signature of RK+Oak+swords winner

Hi all,

I just got a small group of 3 docs + Wehrpass and Soldbuch of a soldier from S.R. 74 in the 19th Panzer Division.
The award document of the PAB bronce and the EK 2 doc is signed by Otto von Knobbelsdorf.
I wanted to find out if they are real ink or facsimilie ?

Is there any chance to find out by these pics.

Another question is, is there a big price different for an award doc signed by an RK/Oak/swords winner ?

I would say that a document will definitely sell for more if it is signed by a highly decorated and/or famous personality rather than an unknown Company Officer. As always, the price is dependant on who signed what document.

The answer is no not really, as far as oaks, swords or even diamonds winners go. Some difference sure and some dealers put more emphasis (ie.value) on it than others but it's more dependent on fame or popularity. For example, a Schörner signed doc is in no way comparable to a Rommel signed one yet both were fieldmarshals and both held the diamonds.

Is mine opinion docu. Knobelsdorff high awards,survived wartime,therefore price not high.

I agree with what you are saying but, from my experience, a document will sell for a higher price if it it signed by any RKT rather than by an unknown and undecorated Company Officer.
But as you suggest, it is the 'popularity' of an officer which should help with the sale and price of a document viz a viz Rommel versus Schoerner.
