Camera Question????

I don't know if this is the right place to post but here goes. I friend called me & said he had a Zeiss Icon Camera that was taken fron a German Officer in WWII. I don't know anything about cameras and haven't seen it yet. Would it be collectable or have any value?

It would be impossible to talk about value from the information you have provided thus far. Zeiss Ikon produced many varieties of cameras before and during the war. If you can find out any more details about what your friend has, I'd be more than happy to fill in the blanks with regard to rarity and value. I collect pre-war and war-era Zeiss Ikon 35mm cameras so if your friend has one those, I'd be most interested in the model and any ownership history behind it.
