little help with 3-d stereoview album

hi Guys, ive owned this 3-d album for a number of years now
it is the veterans day parade, complete but with most of these thick books the spine has almost broke.

When i first got hold of it, i looked at all 100 slides then boxed it up,the book itself has all the colour plates and every page, just the front is very weak now(for that reson i never looked too hard)

Well today I was having a good look and I found on the second page its been stamped (never seen it before!)

This is where i need you guys to make comments, this is how its stamped:

DER ERFTE GROSSDEUTFCHE REICHSKRIEGERTAG (i know this is the title)
    SS-KRIEGSVERLESSTEN HILFSDIENFT
    DES SS-STANDORT WIEN
    WIEN I.,PARKRING 8
    FERNRUF R 27-5-75

this is in old style German writing, note the ss part on gross, is stamped the correct German way that looks like B, but my laptop cannot duplicate that!

    any help most welcome
    regards, Matthew.

Hi Matthew, my German is self taught, so I can tell you that it roughly reads:

First Greater Germany War Veterans Day
    SS War Missing Help Service
    SS Location Vienna
    Address + tel number.

    Cheers, Ade.

      3-d album

      hi adrian,

i was guessing it has come from an SS libary or office, just wondered if the stamps details rang any bells for the educated members of this great site.

      thanks for your input.

It could be a property stamp for that organisation or even to show that it was sold by them?

        Cheers, Ade.
