But off track question:
What is that badge on the guy with the kepi, next to Himmler? Looks like raised silver SS runes on a black circle, center chest? Perhaps standard equipment for the uh, SS turtleneck? I love to see things like this!

SS fencing team uniform.

He is wearing a what looks like a formal (tails) jacket over it so it must be just after a match.

This was and still is the style in some fencing clubs.

Some have a sit down dinner (formal) after their matches in honour of the ones they just killed/wounded (at least in the old days),

I can't remember all the details but I think the victor wore his dinner jacket while the vanquished did not (they were represented the dead so they couldn't get changed) or is it the other way around?
