Condor Legion Tank Badge award document

Here is an extremely rare document. Only 415 award. I got this together with a badge and a photo of a recipient which can be seen via this link.

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=281351

It's signed by Von Thoma. It's also pictured on page 461 of Detlev Niemann's price guide Vol.2.
    Opinions welcome.

    regards,
    AB.

In "Los Hombres de Von Thoma", from Molina & Manrique, is a list of "Brigadas instructores de carros de combate". It includes the name of Johann Grotephorst (sic), who served in Spain from November, 1, 1936 until December, 12, 1937.

Thanks Guillem for the information. I must try to find that book. I guess it's in Spanish.

Thanks Jacques. There is one other in "Forman's guide to 3th Reich documents" but apart from that I don't no of anymore.

                Hi,
I know 8 others within Forums or books, including mine (Albert, Bartz, Lechner, Buchterkirch,Graf, Neumann, Blaich, Ströhmann). At least a very rare document. The spanish book doesn't present all the names, thus it is fine to have a document of which the name is known and atteched to a unit.

                        Andrew,

I find something interesting on your document, except the fact that it is a scarce document, I like the number penciled on the top right, and wonder what does it stand for . I found such number on another document for same badge.
