                  ss photos

another pre war ss photo...not my field but its a good cap shot.

i think this is an ID type photo as its tiny with mans details on rear.

he was a doctor ,cant make out the name all that clear, 12/85...if that means anything.

                  all the best

                      Peter,
Thank you for posting your interesting photos. Is there anything written on the back of image #2? The reason I ask, apart from it being an excellent picture of the nco sword neing worn, is that it appears to show a blank cufftitle.
I presume the photographic stamp says "Zirlik, Ellwangen", and therefore the men are from Deutschland. The wear of the title is interesting. Do any of your other pictures show these two junior officers?
                      Thanks,
                      Derek

                        Hello Derek,

Thank you for your comments. Yes as far as can seen on the photo the
cuff title appears to be blank. And the photo does read Zirlik Ellwangen and has also a stamp of the back from this foto-atelier.
In the total lot of loose photo's there seems to be 1 other photo related to this photo, but it shows a mortar crew on excersise in the field and therefore does not show any cuff titles.

                        Regards
                        Peter

                            Hello Peter

I'm for 99,99% sure that the Off. in the second picture is Oak Leaves recipient Christian Tychsen who also was with ''D'' around that time. Nice pictures

Thanks for the additional photo Peter. Over on Axis a thread has solved the blank title. It is for Sturmbann 'N'. Now why didn't I think of that.
